The Neo ProLink AVi iPod adapter allows you to connect the Audio and/or Video from your iPod into any radio or device with “RCA” connections. It gives you high quality audio, power and charging of the ipod including USB power. It will also export VIDEO from the iPod onto a any screen with a video input. When the iPod is connected, you will have full control on the ipod from the iPod itself, your iPod and screen will NOT be disabled. You will be able to access and use the menu, click wheel, track and play/pause buttons. There is no special playlists that need to be setup, and you are not limited in anyway. This adapter does NOT offer control or text display from the radio.
How it connects:
The Neo ProLink kit includes a cable that plugs directly into your iPod. The cable on the other side of the kit has Audio/Video plugs, commonly referred to as RCA jacks (red, white and yellow). These jacks plug directly into ANY Audio and/or Video connection – there is no FM modulation. You get crystal clear, CD quality sound all while retaining the clean look of your factory stereo all with one simple cable that connects and powers your iPod. iPod Control on iPod:
- Direct use of iPod and control of every playlist, song, artist and menu setting – iPod screen, menu and wheel are NEVER locked out.
iPod Control on Radio:
- This kit does NOT offer control on the radio.
Possible Uses:
- Connect to “RCA” input on radio/device
- Connect into Factory or Aftermarket “RCA” Audio/Video input usually on center console or on drop down screen.
- Connect to Rear Seat Entertainment system input.
- Connect to DVD player input.
- Connect to Factory Navigation screen in car. (Must have a Neo to GSP/NAV adapter to do so).
What iPods its compatible with:
The Neo ProLink is compatible with all iPods with a dock connector on the bottom. If you charge your iPod by plugging it in from the bottom, your iPod is compatible. The iPhone is NOT compatible with this cable. |
